jadinya: aku percaya kepada Roh Kudus, gereja yang kudus dan am (= universal, catholik)

hm....soal turun ke dalam kerajaan maut.....itu ditambahkan kemudian....maksudnya, pada awalnya, ketika bapa2 gereja menyusun 12 pengakuan iman rasuli, turun ke dalam kerajaan maut belum dituliskan, namun setelah ada begitu banyak doktrin yang sesat beredar mengenai 3 hari ketika Yesus meninggal, sehingga bapa2 gereja kemudian menambahkan kalimat itu....

mengapa methodist ga pake???
ct blum sempat selidiki....ntar deh...ct juga lagi nanya2 ke hamba2 Tuhan senior di gereja

ternyata ga semua methodist tuh ga make kalimat turun ke dalam kerajaan maut....soale kemarin waktu ct khotbah di GMI pancur batu, mereka pake tuh....

setelah tanya sana sini (walaupun ga dapat jawaban yang memuaskan) dan baca buku, akhirnya ct menarik kesimpulan, napa GMI Gloria tidak memakai kalimat turun ke dalam kerajaan maut. ada 2 alasan:
1. takut jemaat salah mengerti, sehingga jadi sesat....ntar malah ikut pula kelompok yang menginjili arwah roh orang mati.
2. anak kalimat ini baru mulai ditambahkan setelah abad ke-4, jadi pada awalnya belum ada punya.

tapi sebenarnya anak kalimat ini mengajarkan doktrin yang penting banget....kita orang kristen tidak perlu takut mati coz Tuhan uda duluan mati n pernah mengalami kematian, dan paling penting Tuhan uda mengalahkan kematian....soale byk juga orang kristen yang ketika menghadapi kematian takut banget.....kayak orang2 yang ga punya pengharapan.

mhm....jadi kepikiran, ngomong2 tiap minggu teman2 ucapin pengakuan iman rasuli, teman2 ngerti ga sih apa maknanya?? ato pengakuan iman rasuli uda jadi semacam mantera "harry potter"??? jangan2 Doa Bapa Kami juga.....
